PRESCOT Cables kept their unbeaten home league record with an impressive win over FC United thanks to Jack Goodwin’s first-half goal.
The home side started strong with two early corners which the FC Utd defence had to be alert to.
Then in the eighth minute Goodwin left Dan Atherton with no chance with a superb strike into the top-left corner from a direct free-kick.
