TOBENNA Ikegwuonu’s strike guided Loughborough to their second win of the season over Coventry.
Jonty Bouch was abruptly forced into action to clear a Sphinx corner in the tenth minute, before his side were denied from a free-kick just outside the area.
The Scholars eventually found the breakthrough that they deserved after 39 minutes as Ikegwuonu rifled home Alexander Spiteri’s ball into the area.
