EAST GRINSTEAD TOWN picked up their first victory of the season, beating Hassocks and avenging a 3-0 defeat two weeks ago.
The game had little to commend itself, with the basement-dwelling Wasps more than matching their hosts and Hassocks waiting for an error from which to profit.
The most notable incident of the first half saw James Shaw rush out of his box, commit a foul from which a stromash ensued. The goalkeeper was cautioned.
