BUXTON IS BACK IN – AS A BOSS!

JAKE Buxton has taken over the Alfreton Town manager’s hotseat – 21 years after his first spell at the club as a player.
The former Burton Albion, Derby County and Mansfield Town defender re-joins the Reds from Derby where he worked in several roles within the Rams’ academy.
Buxton, 40, is a familiar face at the Impact Arena having made eight loan appearances for the Reds, from Mansfield, in 2003/04.
He replaces Ryan Conneely, who left his role as interim head coach of the National League North club on Wednesday.
