NEWCASTLE Benfield crashed out of the FA Vase after Lewis Barlow’s late winner stunned the home crowd.
Benfield took the lead in the 27th minute as Lewis Orrell latched on to the end of a long goal-kick, but his close-range effort was saved into the path of Joseph Thompson, who had an easy finish into an open net to put the Lions in front.
