Yeovil Town have bolstered their back line with the signing of former Aldershot Town defender Dan Ellison from Bristol Rovers on a deal until the summer of 2027.
The 20-year-old centre-back joins the Glovers after impressing on loan at Aldershot Town last season, where he played a key role in the Shots’ Isuzu FA Trophy triumph, scoring in the final at Wembley.
Ellison began his career with Chippenham Town, making 30 appearances and scoring four goals in the National League South, before earning a move to Bristol Rovers in 2024.
His strong form also earned him an England C call-up the same year. Glovers boss Richard Dryden, who previously worked with Ellison at Aldershot, said: “Dan is a player I know well from our time together at Aldershot.

Potential
“He has a fantastic attitude, real potential, and has already shown he can perform on the big stage.
“He is strong, composed, and hungry to keep improving. We are really pleased to have him on board.”
Ellison returned to the Bluebirds on loan this season before returning to his parent club after making just three appearances.
His move to Huish Park follows the arrival of Max Jolliffe, who joined on loan from Colchester United on Thursday as Yeovil continue to add depth to their squad ahead of the busy winter schedule.
The Glovers face promotion-chasing Carlisle United this weekend.
