SHAFTESBURY picked up a hard-fought win after two successive losses, as they put Melksham to the sword to out breathing space between them and eighth-placed Hartpury.
A penalty from well-travelled Brazilian playmaker Alefe Santos D’Abadia put the Rockies ahead in first-half injury time, much to the delight of most of the 201 people in attendance.
Toby Holmes doubled the advantage in the 74th minute after a short corner routine with Santos D’Abadia and fired past Adam Forster into the bottom corner of the net...
