■ SPORTING Club Inkberrow made their 514-mile round trip to Cornwall worthwhile with a hard-earned victory at Mousehole AFC.
The decisive moment came after 28 minutes when Noah Rubio coolly finished from close range following a well-worked move down the right.
Despite the long journey, Inkberrow started brightly and showed real discipline and organisation throughout.
Mousehole grew into the game after the break, pressing hard for an equaliser, but the visitors’ defensive structure and game management were outstanding.
