Canvey Island have lured manager Garry Kimble from Essex rivals Witham Town.
Kimble stepped down from the Isthmian North club on Tuesday night after a 4-1 win at Brightlingsea Regent.
And hours later, he was confirmed as the new boss of Isthmian Premier division Canvey, replacing former England and Premier League manager Peter Taylor.
Kimble, 59, enjoyed a progressive second spell as manager at Spa Road, steering Witham to a seventh-place finish last season, while also winning the Tolleshunt D’Arcy Memorial Cup in the summer.

GULLS BOSS: Garry Kimble
Replaced
He will be replaced at Witham by coach Kevin Hunter, who has stepped up to take the hotseat.
Kimble takes over a Canvey side at the bottom of the Isthmian Premier table with just five points from their opening 11 games.
He brings with him to Park Lane his management team, which includes director of football Harry Palmer and coaches James Arundell and Glen Knight.
