REAL Bedford survived a late fightback from a resilient Stratford Town side to hold onto all three points in a thrilling encounter.
The visitors had been dominant during the first half, cruising into the break with a two-goal advantage, but they were forced to endure a far more challenging second period.
Bedford took the lead in spectacular fashion in the 13th minute when Elliot Simmons received the ball on the edge of the box and sent a delightful first-time shot curling into the back of the net.
