MILTON KEYNES IRISH scored a goal in each half to ensure hosts Rayners Lane remain rooted at the foot of the table.
In a lively opening 45 minutes, both teams created half-chances, Ryan Smith firing wide for Irish and Lane’s Brad Walsh drilling in a cross that eluded everyone.
Eight minutes before the break Smith played in George Shrieves and he beat Charlie Patmore to open the scoring.
After the break, Lane launched countless raids on the Irish goal, but Thomas Ladyman was in fine form, repelling all attempts to beat him...
