IT was a highly anticipated return to action for Charlie Austin at Bulpit Lane but even the former Premier League striker’s presence could not break the deadlock between Hungerford Town and Wimborne Town.
The first half was devoid of chances for both sides, despite Wimborne’s Max Bustamante trying to inject some quality for the away side, but Hungerford, led by the wily fox Jordan Rose, withstood any attacks.
