WORKSOP struck late on to knock Chorley out at Victory Park.
Milan Lalkovic scored twice for the Magpies, either side of half-time, but substitute Chae Whitman-Brown struck an 89th minute winner for the Tigers.
Andy Preece handed Preston loanee Max Wilson his debut and the youngster quickly created an early chance for Tom Walker, whose header sailed just over. Half-chances were split equally before Chorley opened the scoring on 31 minutes.
