HANWELL Town made their extra man count, scoring twice after Merthyr’s Aneurin Livermore was sent off, to cause an upset.
The teams were locked at 1-1 when the midfielder was shown a red card as punishment for his tackle on Roberto Nditi shortly after the interval.
Mo Bettamer put the visitors ahead seven minutes later, converting Joe Wilson’s cross with a powerful shot, before Alfie Pendlebury added to the Southern League Premier South side’s advantage.
