ON the day goalkeeper Shane Bland became their record appearance holder, it was fitting Whitby won while shutting out Rylands.
He wore the Seasiders’ number one jersey for the 485th time, passing Paul Pitman’s previous mark, helping the visitors inflict a first home defeat of the campaign on the table-toppers Rylands.
