GIANLUCA Botti’s brace off the bench and a Loic Hernandez header gave Wingate & Finchley a third consecutive victory at Lewes’ expense, moving them just three points off the play-off spots.
There were notable first-half chances at both ends, with stand-in number nine, Hernandez, poking wide for the hosts and Lukas Franzen-Jones failing to convert from close range, at the other end.
