DEBUTANT Oliver Wilson scored the only goal as Basford United cemented their top five position with victory against Coleshill Town.
The big striker signed by the Ambers earlier in the week after dropping down a division from Hednesford Town.
Basford goalkeeper Matthew Yates was kept on his toes in the early stages and had to dive down low to deny a 10th-minute effort.
Three minutes later United responded and Jordan Hallam’s cross was met by defender Dwayne Wiley who headed wide at the far post.
