■ TWO goals from Jack Edwards gave Lichfield boss Ivor Green the perfect birthday present, all three points, as they defeated Long Eaton United.
In a first half that swung one way then another, it was the hosts who took the lead after five minutes when Edwards’ cross from the touchline snuck in at the near post. It came at the end of a fantastic move as Brendon Bunn had found debutant Kieron Berry with his clearance.
