BRANTHAM Athletic suffered late heartbreak as they fell to defeat at home to Witham Town, despite a dramatic 93rd-minute equaliser.
Rooted to the bottom of the table, Brantham looked to have rescued a valuable point when James Lee struck deep into stoppage time, only for their hopes to unravel moments later.
Witham had broken the deadlock in the 79th minute through Ziad Bakaar, who finished confidently after a spell of mounting pressure.
