■ NORTHWOOD finally notched their first home league win of the season but they had to do it the hard way after trailing at the break.
In an open and entertaining first-half, both sides missed opportunities to take the lead before the OD’s knocked in a deep ball from the left for Carmichael Uchenna to finish with a classy volley after 38 minutes.
Northwood were much better in the second half, led by joint player-manager Jon-Jo Bates who crossed for Dan Vincent’s headed equaliser after 57 minutes before then scoring the second, firing in fro...
