■ SPORTING Club Inkberrow came away from Devon with a valuable three points after edging past Willand Rovers.
The game was best summed up with two decisive moments, with one bordering on farcical.
First, the game was ultimately settled midway through the first half with Jay Higgins-Pugsley’s goal. The Inkberrow number 10 powered home in the 22nd minute following fine work down the right flank from Alex Griffiths and Noah Rubio, as well as a zipped low ball across from Leo Brown.
