BROADBRIDGE Heath were hoping to maintain their excellent run of form of eight wins from the past 10 matches when they played host to Erith Town, but the game was on edge right up to the last minute before Heath secured the win.
In an evenly-balanced first half, the Bears who got the all important goal when Emmanuel Abudiore hammered a shot through a crowded penalty are to give Heath the narrowest of halftime leads.
As the heavens opened up and the rain came down, the game continued from end to end. Heath created more chances but the visitors looked danger...
