■ BASFORD managed to earn a point after playing with 10 men for over a hour following a first-half red card for Nat Peters.
After a first half of few chances that failed to challenge both goalkeepers, the main talking point of the game came when Nat Peters was shown a red card after a high challenge on Jack Daldy.
Rushden were awarded a penalty just before half time when Tyler Winters was fouled. Winters then stepped up to take the penalty and placed it into the corner, but Basford keeper Matt Yates guessed the right way to make an outstanding ...
