AFC WHYTELEAFE kept the heat on leaders Three Bridges as they saw off Sheppey United at Church Road.
It was the visitors who enjoyed the better start, but Leafe broke the deadlock early when a long ball from Corey Holder set Eniola Hassan away, and he fired past William Heater.
As the home side pressed for a second, goalkeeper Slav Huk proved his worth, making a superb stop to deny Sheppey from close range.
