■ LITTLEHAMPTON TOWN were defeated 4-0 by an inspired Binfield, who fully deserved their three points.
The away side comfortably took an early lead with Owen Smith scoring after just three minutes and Lamin Ceesay doubling it after 11 minutes.
Despite that, Golds constantly attacked the Binfield goal, but against the strong seaside wind and a brilliant series of saves from goalkeeper Coleridge Fubler, they were denied an opportunity to score.
