ASHFORD United move clear of the bottom four after a win over struggling Beckenham Town.
The hosts got off to the perfect start at The Green Box Stadium, going in front through an own goal after just 12 minutes.
And that lead was doubled in some style when Sam Hasler struck a superb effort from 35 yards which beat Vinith Murugamoorthy.
But Beckenham fought back and halved the deficit when Thomas Hever struck – before they had the chance to draw level, only for George Porter to have a penalty well saved by Harry...
