■THERE was heartbreak for Saffron Walden Town, who went out of the FA Vase, 4–3 on penalties, against Great Yarmouth Town.
After a goalless 90 minutes, the decisive spot-kick was converted by Reegan Perry, who had kept the Bloaters in the game with a fantastic goal-line clearance in the 71st minute.
It was a good day for Barking in the League as they beat leaders Little Oakley 4–1 and moved into third place, four points behind the Acorns.
Taylor Jacobi had given Little Oakley the lead before Max Harbrow equalised just before half-time.
