■ AFC WHYTELEAFE stayed in second spot after a hard-fought win away at mid-table Deal.
It was the visitors who controlled the opening proceedings at Charles Sports Ground, with Ryan Gondoh going close before they broke the deadlock after 14 minutes. Gondoh was the provider – his pass finding the feet of Eniola Hassan inside the area and he slammed his 13th goal in all competitions beyond James Tonkin.
