Christmas arrived early for York City as they eased to a comfortable victory over bottom club Truro City.
A first-half Ollie Pearce hat-trick put title-chasing York in good stead at the end of the first-half, before Alex Newby’s second-half strike had the result beyond doubt for Truro, who are yet to win on the road this season.
For York, it’s now seven wins in a row in the National League, having scored three or more goals in their last seven league contests.
