Tim Lees says he aims to bring ‘stability and clarity’ to the Bury FC management structure following a turbulent week which saw the Shakers part company with boss Michael Jolley after just two days in charge.
Jolley, the former Grimsby Town and Barrow chief, was hired as Bury manager on Friday, succeeding Dave McNabb, who had stepped down earlier this month to become head of football operations.
But by Sunday morning, the 48-year-old had walked out following a backlash from Shakers supporters, angry at his appointment due to his past criminal record.
