ELLIOT LONG’S looping header proved decisive as Billericay edged past a competitive Carshalton side at New Lodge to claim all three points.
The hosts started on the front foot and created the first opening of the afternoon when Jack Evans tested the palms of Matt Kerbey. Liam Nash went even closer soon after but Kerbey produced an outstanding reaction save from close range.
