MILES OBODO’S winner with 14 minutes left against ten-man Hashtag United moved Chichester up to 12th place in time for Christmas.
Chi edged a poor game full of offsides and misplaced passes as the visitors’ Jaxon Brown was given a second yellow card after the break.
Neither side created a clear-cut chance in the first 45 minutes, although the Tags did go close at the mid-point of the half.
