BURY goalkeeper Charlie Beckwith saved the day as the points were shared with Stourbridge.
In a big game for two teams fighting at the bottom of the table, it was Town who struck first with Tommy Hughes hitting a beautiful strike from outside the box that hit the roof of the net on just three minutes.
The away side soon pushed Bury back to mostly defending with just a couple of half-chances in front of goal for the hosts.
