CHERTSEY claimed victory at Berkhamsted against a side that struggled to make an impression on the game.
A quick break from Berkhamsted saw Jonathan Lacey burst through, but the ball was cleared before Bradley Wadkins could get his shot away on goal.
Nine minutes later, the ball was laid back to Lacey by Wadkins, but although he brought it down well to control it, his shot went over the bar from close range.
Berkhamsted tried to press forward, but after 29 minutes, the visitors caught catch them on the counter attack.
