■ WYTHENSHAWE claimed a much-needed win over Kidsgrove to boost confidence that they can avoid relegation.
Wealth Dasilva converted a first-half penalty, his seventh league goal of the campaign, to put Chris Willcock’s men ahead.
It was a lead their dominance deserved against out-of-sorts Grove, who last weekend celebrated ending an eight-month wait for an away win.
There rarely looked likely to be a repeat, much to the frustration of co-boss Tom Pope who afterwards described his players’ mentality as weak.
