■ NANTWICH Town returned to winning ways with victory over in-form Bootle.
After an uneventful start, the Dabbers broke the deadlock with a fantastic cross finding Aidy Roxburgh free in the area to head home.
Bootle then had a penalty shout minutes later but it was waved away by the referee.
Alex Panter doubled the home side’s lead five minutes before half-time with an excellent finish from the edge of the box into the bottom corner.
