GARY LOSS BIG BLOW FOR TOWN

CORBY Town have been hit by the resignation of manager Gary Setchell in the wake of reported pay cuts for players and staff.
Setchell quit with the Steel-men eighth in Northern Premier League Division One Midlands. Their first match after his exit was a 7-0 home defeat by Long Eaton United yesterday.
The former Wisbech Town, King’s Lynn Town and Bedford Town boss was appointed by Corby in January 2023.
His departure came in the wake of the club saying that it had become impossible to maintain the same playing budget as last season.
