TEN-MAN Southend United claimed a well-deserved three points in the Essex derby against Braintree Town, grinding out a hard-fought victory at a bitterly cold Rare Breed Meat Co Stadium.
Substitute Gus Scott-Morriss scored the only goal 15 minutes from time after the Shrimpers had Ben Goodliffe sent off for pulling the hair of Sahid Kamara just before the break.
