■ AVRO made it seven wins on the bounce to finish the year on a high and consolidate second place in the table.
Trafford’s debutant keeper Oliver Bellizia made a magnificent double save in the 31st minute to keep out Kyle Hawley’s controversially awarded spot-kick but was unable to prevent the visitors from taking the lead five minutes into the second half when Harry Salt broke clear down the middle.
