■ SHIFNAL Town, fourth in the table, beat 18th-placed Congleton Town, despite playing almost half an hour with ten men.
The deadlock was broken five minutes before half-time when Shaq Whittingham controlled the ball on the edge of the box and smashed it past David Parton. Thirteen minutes into the second half, Matthew Barnes-Homer beat four defenders before Kev Monteiro scored.
Five minutes later, however, Kane Lewis handled on the line. He was dismissed and Peter Williams’ spot-kick beat Andrew Wycherley.
