■ CHASETOWN kept up their chase for a play-off place with a victory at Stafford Rangers who remain three points above the relegation places.
Rangers almost took the lead after 13 minutes, Jack Birch’s shot being parried by Curtis Pond and the same player hit a post on the rebound.
Pond made a couple more excellent saves before the Scholars took the lead eight minutes before half-time through Ty Webster.
Stafford’s hopes of a result took a huge hit just after the resumption when Luke Yates doubled Chasetown’s lea...
