PONTEFRACT Collieries struck three decisive first-half blows to secure victory over Bradford Park Avenue in an entertaining derby.
The visitors made the perfect start, opening the scoring inside the first minute when Jack Greenhough’s long throw caused chaos in the box and Avenue keeper Jack Hall deflected the ball into his own net.
Colls doubled their advantage soon after as Frankie Sinfield cut inside onto his left foot and curled a fine effort inside the far post.
