■ A CROWD of 802 packed into the Bannister Prentice Stadium to witness Garforth sign off 2025 with an excellent West Yorkshire Derby win over second-placed Emley.
Harry Flatters made a tremendous save from close range in a first half of few chances.
The home side upped their game after the break and Joe Allerton scored the winning goal after 65 minutes, floating a delicious shot into the top left corner from just outside the box.
The Emley fightback never really materialised, with Garforths’ defence proving too tough to breach.
