■HADLEY moved above their hosts Stotfold in the table as a single goal from Luke Alfano sealed the win.
Alfano scored the penalty spot after ten minutes of play as Lenny Asamoah was brought down in the area.
Stotfold were almost level after 28 minutes as Henry Snee saw his header just about cleared off the line by a retreating defender.
In fact, this game was a tale of two penalties as Stotfold were awarded one of their own on the hour mark. However, Charlie Taylor made an excellent save to keep his clean sheet intact.
