WORKINGTON are having it tough at the bottom of the NPL Premier and this was a particularly hard one to take for the Cumbrians.
Backed by a superb crowd of 1,219 they were seconds away from what would have been a vital victory when City equalised.
The visitors had dominated play for much of the second-half, particularly after Workington’s returning mid-fielder Brad Carroll was shown a straight red card for a tackle in the 82nd minute.
