SHEPSHED Dynamo began 2026 at home to Rugby Town looking to add a second successive win following victory at Loughborough Students.
A lively atmosphere with 405 fans packed into the ground witnessed a close first half of few opportunities until Jude Collins rifled in a low shot inside the area from 15 yards.
Collins’ effort was too hot to handle for goalkeeper Marcus Bald and striker Jesse Friend was on hand to stab home the opener.
