MICKLEOVER edged a five-goal thriller over the Loughborough Students.
For the first ten minutes Mickleover bombarded the Students defence, but failed to breakthrough.
But when Lincoln City loanee Daniel Vanderpuye was given space on the right, he fired home the opener for the visitors.
Jack McDowell then saved another Vanderpuye effort. The hosts went close to equalising when keeper Jude Sadler saved from Andy Dales, before Fraser Corden’s rebound attempt was blocked.
