BLYTH Town boss Gavin Fell spoke of his pride after securing victory in this historic derby.
A crowd of 1,424 watched this first-ever competitive fixture between the sides.
And it was Town’s Nathan Buddle who proved the hero, returning to haunt his former club with what proved to be the winner in the second half, much to the delight of his boss.
