Paul Hurst praised his Boston United players despite slipping to defeat against FC Halifax Town in his first game in charge of the Pilgrims.
Hurst replaced Graham Coughlan as Boston boss in midweek, returning to the club 15 years after his first spell in the dugout.
The lively Ken Aboh gave him something to cheer after his cancelled out Owen Bray’s early opener for Halifax.
