VICTORY at Canvey Island gave Welling United vital back-to-back wins in their battle against the drop.
Two teams in the bottom four of the Isthmian League Premier Division struggled to create firsthalf chances.
Matas Skarna had a couple of long range efforts that flew wide for the Seagulls while Welling’s Ade Azeez had a shot saved easily by Jacob Marsden after a deflection took the sting out of it.
